What is a College WallStar?

A College WallStar is a movable wall graphic.
A College WallStar comes in two sizes….BIG (26″ x 40″)…and REAL BIG (40″ x 52″).

A College WallStar is made of high quality vinyl - no fading or tearing.
A College WallStar is made with a medium-tack adhesive making it repositionable - it STICKS the first time and when you decide you want to move it - it STICKS again - with no damage to your walls.

How do I stick my WallStar?
Step-by-Step College WallStar Application instructions:
Step 1. Find a “Can’t Miss Spot” to show off your WallStar - Make sure to pick a smooth surface (painted drywall is best) with enough room for your BIG or REAL BIG WallStar.
Step 2. Clean the “chosen” spot on the wall - It is very important that you clean the wall with a damp cloth and allow it to dry completely (24 hours is best) before sticking your WallStar.
Note: Use warm water only! Soap or cleaning supplies can be harmful to the adhesive.
Step 3. Flatten your WallStar - The WallStar will come in a poster tube, unroll the WallStar and lay it out flat. Allow enough time for the WallStar to flatten out prior to sticking.
Step 4. Find a Friend - A WallStar is much easier to apply with four hands.
Step 5. Peel WallStar from its backing paper - With someone on each side of the WallStar, peel from top to bottom, evenly peeling the WallStar from its backing paper.
Step 6. Stick the WallStar in the “chosen” area - With the help of your friend, stick the top of the WallStar to the wall and slowly work your way down using minimal pressure to secure the WallStar. If you don’t get it exactly right the first time, no worries, it is very easy to remove the WallStar and start over.
Step 7. Smooth out the Bubbles/Wrinkles - Working from the middle to the edges, smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles in the WallStar.
Step 8. Congratulations! - You have just hung your first WallStar. Hopefully the first of many!
Important: Make sure to keep the backing paper and poster tube. It will make it much easier to transport the WallStar in the event you want to give it a new location.
Where do WallStars stick?
WallStars are meant to hang indoors and stick best to smooth, non-textured, painted drywall. Other good surfaces are glass, doors and metal.
WallStars are not recommended for textured or brick walls, outdoor wall surfaces, vehicles or unpainted drywall.
Approved Surfaces:
Smooth, non-textured, painted drywall
Smooth, non-textured, wallpaper
Non-porous surfaces such as glass and metal
Finished wood surfaces such as doors and paneling
Do not apply to the following surfaces:
Textured drywall
Unpainted drywall
Textured wallpaper
Brick walls
Outdoor walls
Cars
What is the refund/return policy?
We are committed to your satisfaction. We will refund your money or replace the WallStar if you meet the following conditions.
- The WallStar is in original condition - If your WallStar is in original condition you can return it within 60 days of the delivery date to exchange it or receive a refund (less shipping and handling fees).
- The WallStar is damaged or defective. - If your order arrives damaged you can return it within 60 days of the delivery date and we will refund you for the damaged item or replace it at our discretion.
If you want to return your WallStar please follow these steps.
- Email us at support@collegewallstars.com and give us your order number and the reason for your return.
- We will email you a return authorization number. We will not process your return without one.
- Place your WallStar in the package it was originally shipped in and clearly mark the return authorization number on the outside of the package.
- Use a traceable shipping service when returning your package to us.
